KIA Earl Grey Tea is a black tea blended with addition of bergamot oil which is a small citrus tree. It is quintessential full-bodied classic tea. It combines the rich, malty flavours of black tea with the uplifting citrusy tang of herbal and floral teas. Our black tea is rolled immediately after withering to help get the oxidation processes started quickly. The leaves are then fully oxidized before they are dried, which is how they get their dark color and rich flavor.
